One of the most common complaints with original sash and case windows is that they have draughts, are noisy and rattle when opened.
Our draught proofing service addresses all of these points and is extremely effective. We completely replace the original baton rods and parting beads (the internal frame that keeps the sashes in the casement) with new timber made to order that incorporates a draught seal.
We use "Aquamac" weatherseal which is impervious to paint or stain while still providing some of the best energy efficiency characteristics available.
We were very satisfied with the work done by Paul and Hasan. They are excellent workers, quiet, and get on with the job. Two very pleasant lads and Paul explained everything. After they have finished you wouldn't know they had been in the place as everything is clean and tidy.
